Day 1: Dehradun to Sankri

Drive from Dehradun to Sankri, a beautiful village and the base for many Himalayan treks. The journey passes through Mussoorie, forests, and rivers, offering scenic mountain views. On arrival, check into a hotel, meet your trek leader, and attend a briefing session. Rest and prepare for the challenging trek ahead.

Day 2: Sankri to Taluka to Seema

Drive from Sankri to Taluka, then begin your trek towards Seema. The trail passes through dense forests, wooden bridges, and riverside paths along the Supin River. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and gradual ascent. Reach Seema village, relax at the campsite, and experience the beauty of remote Himalayan life.

Day 3: Seema to Har Ki Dun

Trek from Seema to Har Ki Dun valley, one of the most beautiful alpine regions in Uttarakhand. The trail offers stunning views of snow-capped peaks and lush meadows. Walk through forests and open valleys, gradually gaining altitude. Reach the campsite and enjoy the breathtaking views of Swargarohini peaks.

Day 4: Har Ki Dun to Ruinsara Tal

Start your trek towards Ruinsara Tal, a high-altitude glacial lake surrounded by majestic mountains. The trail becomes more rugged and remote, passing through alpine meadows and rocky terrain. Reach Ruinsara Tal campsite, enjoy the serene beauty of the lake, and prepare for higher altitude trekking.

Day 5: Ruinsara Tal to Odari

Trek from Ruinsara Tal to Odari, a high-altitude campsite surrounded by dramatic landscapes. The trail involves gradual ascent and offers stunning views of Bandarpoonch peak. Odari is known for its mythological significance and serves as a base for the Bali Pass climb. Rest well and acclimatize for the summit push.

Day 6: Odari to Bali Pass to Lower Dhamni

This is the most challenging day of the trek. Start early and climb steep snow slopes to reach Bali Pass (16,200 ft). Enjoy panoramic views of Himalayan peaks. After crossing the pass, descend carefully through snowfields and rocky terrain to reach Lower Dhamni campsite. A long but rewarding day.

Day 7: Lower Dhamni to Yamunotri to Janki Chatti

Descend towards Yamunotri, a sacred pilgrimage site. The trail becomes easier as you reach lower altitudes. Visit the temple and experience the spiritual atmosphere. Continue trekking to Janki Chatti, where you will stay overnight and relax after the intense journey.

Day 8: Janki Chatti to Dehradun
