The Char Dham Yatra is one of the most sacred pilgrimage journeys in India, located in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand. It covers four holy shrines—Yamunotri Temple, Gangotri Temple, Kedarnath Temple, and Badrinath Temple. These temples are dedicated to Goddess Yamuna, Goddess Ganga, Lord Shiva, and Lord Vishnu respectively.

The yatra typically begins from Dehradun or Haridwar and follows a traditional clockwise route. Pilgrims travel through scenic mountain roads, rivers, and valleys while experiencing spiritual peace and divine connection. Each dham holds deep religious significance and is believed to cleanse sins and open the path to salvation (moksha).

The journey involves road travel along with short treks, especially to Kedarnath and Yamunotri. Along the way, travelers witness breathtaking Himalayan landscapes, sacred rivers, and ancient traditions.

Char Dham Yatra is not just a pilgrimage but a life-changing spiritual experience combining devotion, nature, and adventure in the lap of the Himalayas.
